The National Marine Aquarium, Plymouth

The National Marine Aquarium was the first aquarium in the United Kingdom to be set up solely for the purpose of education, conservation and research. It remains one of Britain's foremost aquarium with stunning exhibits and a reputation for excellence in education. The Aquarium experience comprises a total of 50 live exhibits including three massive tanks, the largest of which – Britain’s deepest tank – holds 2.5 million litres of water. Over 4000 animals from 400 species are displayed in realistic habitats from local shorelines to coral reefs.

Kents Cavern

Spend the morning exploring these amazing caves with their entertaining guides who will lead you back to the Stone Age as they reveal the beauty of this underground natural marvel. Join them for lunch afterwards before heading off down to the beach or along the South West Coast Path. How about a boat trip from Torquay harbour in the afternoon when you can get up close to the stunning coastal landscape and you might even see a seal or a dolphin. They're always much quieter at the end of the day so if you've spent the morning at one of the other fantastic attractions in the English Riviera come over there in the afternoon. Last cave visit is 3:30pm all year. There's loads going on all year - have a look at the special events section for what's happening when you're around. The restaurant and shop are open every day and you can drop in there any time without visiting the caves.

SRS Training, Riding School

Established for 11 years, licensed, BHS and ABRS approved. We are a Pony Club Centre and work with 11 schools in the area. If you are on holiday and want to ride in a mixed age group a Starter Hack is the best option. A 15 minute lesson with an instructor before you are escorted on a ride in the countryside. Children enjoy a Pony Day to include 2 hours of riding and fun time with the horses and farm pets. Half days available. Smaller children we offer a lesson and mini hack combination on the lead rein.
